Hi everyone! Today was...good. I am now employed, which is excellent! My friend Minhua got me a job at the office where she works, doing data entry. This job is a dream. Plenty of hours, not too taxing, easily reached by the T, and at $14.00 an hour, it's even more a dream. I didn't have to take an interview, and the boss is really nice. His name is Angelo, and he said that all I had to do was come in and sign the tax forms and that I'd be all set. I'm going to start on Tuesday. I could not be happier about working, I think. The office is sort of old, but that's alright. The money is what will drive me though it, as sad as that may seem. I would never even dream of getting that much money starting in a job, so this is beautiful. I owe Minhua again. I am going to have to buy that girl the Golden Gate Bridge to pay her back. Or perhaps just a really nice present will do. I don't know. I want to do something really nice for her because she's helped me out SO much this year, in a million and one ways. I will think of something really good.
Tomorrow I'm going to Six Flags! I'm going to sleep over Carla's tonight, and we're going to leave early tomorrow. It's at least a two hour drive down there. I still think that it's going to be wicked fun. I'm looking foward to going on all of the rides and just spending time with everyone, perhaps getting to know the other people that we're going with better, as I have never met them before. I try to go into this sort of thing with an open mind. I have to remember my camera.
Tonight for dinner we got Chinese food. Yes, I know it was not that much of an interesting thing, but the wonton soup was really devine, so I thought that I'd just mention it. Oh, and I did go shopping today and bought a few things worth mentioning. I got a green apple scented Hello Kitty pillow for my dorm room, the new Paulina Rubio cd, and then some Shine Junkie by Tigi for my hair. My mom was questioning the pillow because she thought that people in my dorm would think that I was two years old. I don't care, though, because I like it and it smells like apples.
That's all the news I feel like writing about today.
Ciao!
