I didn't even realize how late it was, really. I don't really care too much either. Today was really very weird, but it was almost nice in a way. During gym there was a fire alarm, and I had to go outside in the freezing cold with a t-shirt and shorts on. That wasn't a very fun part of my day. My two tests didn't seem to be that difficult, so that's okay as well. During the end of the day I start to see this absolutely wonderful snowfall, just starting to pile up. After school Min and I went to the library to do more research for our English papers. I got a few more useful things, while she really didn't. We spent about an hour and a half sitting on the library floor, leafing through books looking for information. It's so nasty because all of the books are very ancient, and when you open them all of this dust comes out, and it just smells like old books. I had to call my mother to tell her where I was, but you're not allowed to use a cell phone in the library. I had to hide behind my backpack and talk quietly to make my call. I just sat at the window at the library, mesmerized by the snow falling down. It wasn't the light fluffy pieces, but rather large soft chunks of snow. All of the trees in the front of my school looked so beautiful, and you would swear that you were at some beautiful place, until you turn your attention to the left and see the main street filled with cars and dirty slush.

When I came home I did my bibliography cards. That was boring and it took me a long time. I forgot to get some of the information such as the editors of the book I was using. I really needed the information, but the library closed early at five today because of the snow, and I couldn't go back. My teacher will just have to accept this excuse, because it was an accident, and although I tried to fix it, it just didn't work. She will probably take a broom and beat me with it or something.

It's still snowing now, and I hope it keeps up. The wind is really high as well. The blizzard of '78 happened right around this time. Not that I was alive or anything, but that's what people have been telling me. I am hoping that something like that will happen again. Well, maybe not a blizzard, but at least a day off from school. I have been teased all of these other days when it has snowed, only to wake up in the morning and see that it has been washed away by rain. That isn't very fair, shan't you agree?

Ciao.
