lay me in lavender

I guess I have to make this quick, as I still have homework to do. After I am done with this, I will be writing an intriguing essay on "What Foreign Language Means to Me." I'm sure you're thrilled. This weekend was just one thing after another, with running here and there and everything else. It was such a pain to be constantly busy. I typed practically the whole day to finish my projects and book reports, and all of that other stupid stuff that is due tomorrow. I mean, what is tomorrow? Freaking national project day or something? I've never had so many things all due on the same day.

Gail and Steve came over to visit today, so that they could get their Girl Scout cookies. They brought along their new puppy, Toby. Everyone else in my family was very enchanted with him, but I didn't see what was so great. That little bastard dog bit me on the hand!! I have a band-aid covering it now, but there are little teeth marks on my hand, and a nice sliced cut on my palm under my thumb. Animals and small children hate me.

I have needed advice this weekend, and my two very best advice people are not around to help me. David is visiting some friends in Toronto, and Jason is down in D.C. at a Tae Kwon Do competition. Ahhhh! I was going crazy Friday night when I really needed advice. I need them both to come back now!! I need advice!! I guess I'll just have to figure it out on my own for now, until I get a chance to talk to either of them. Figures that my two best advice people both wouldn't be around on the same day. Maybe they planned it on purpose. Nah, they're both way too nice to have done that. ^_^

So, away we go. Hopefully next weekend will be less hectic. Only a few more weeks until I go to Spain. Ooooh!!

Ciao.
