it's gonna be me

I just got home from a the supermarket with mom. We spent the day at my aunt's swimming in her pool. I was so happy because my cousin was going to the *nsync concert tonight that we went to last night. One of her friends had an extra ticked because the person she was going to take had a really high fever as well as strep throat. I'm just glad that Lau got to go, because I knew that she really wanted to.

The concert last night was awesome. Our seats were sucky, but that didn't prevent me from seeing anything with my trusty binoculars. The opening acts, Pink and some guy Ron Irizarry...something like that, were pretty bad. I knew that they had Sisquo on the tour for a while, but later let him go, as they felt that he did not fit in with the type of crowd that was attracted to the concerts. Well, at least that's what I read in the newspaper. But I got through the opening acts, and on with the show. It lasted about an hour and a half, and it was just really all around good. I don't think I sat down the whole time, and I couldn't even if I wanted to, because of the stupid kids that were standing on my seat behind me. I have a new favorite now out of the group. I have officially claimed Lance. He is mine! I wonder how many hate mails I will get from people all around the globe for saying that. Still, I have never been the type of person to obsess over a performer. So I'm not going to start now. He's just my favorite. My other cousin, Courtney, also went to the concert with some of her friends from college. They got to meet the producer of *nsync, and even got a second row ticket from him. So, they all took turns sitting in the seat. I think that was awesome. I was so jealous that she had gotten such a nice, up-close seat. Guess it was just a lucky twist of fate, eh? Well, she gave me a ride home from my friend's house, so it's all good. My mom also took my sister, who I am guessing must have been in seventh heaven. My sister adores them, and she brought home lots of souveiners to prove it. I went with Kerri and her friend Melissa, and we all had a good time too. I knew the set list before hand, so that kind of ruined a few surprises, but that's okay. The dancing was good, the singing was excellent, all in all, a berry good night.

Today I saw Chris in the car with his mother, as my mother and I went to the supermarket. I seriously thought that I was going to make it through the summer without having to see his face. I don't know if saw me, but if he did, then he turned his head the other way. He would never do something like that to be mean, so I am figuring that he must have been embarrassed or something. Unless he didn't even look. I think I'm better off that way anyway. I had just come from my aunt's and my hair was all stringy from the chlorine, no makup. Not like I care. I had the window opened, and I was singing anyway. Go me, I don't need anybody, especially him.

I still have twenty dollars left over from my birthday for a Record Town or Strawberries. I want to get a cd, but I don't know which one I want. Does any reader have a suggestion? I would really like to have a new cd. I was thinking about getting bb mack, but I wasn't sure if I would like the whole cd or not. I will listen to anything, really, as long as it is not country music or anything. Maybe I should buy myself a nice Hoku cd. On second thought, really, no. *l* I want to hear that new song by Sting, 'Desert Rose'. I don't know why I have music on the brain so much tonight. Hmph.

Ciao, I'm out.
