it reminds me that it's not so bad

I was going to write tonight, but I knew that I wasn't going to be home, so oh well. I'm going to sleep over my aunt's house, as I have to watch my cousins tomorrow. Instead of dragging my bum up early in the morning to get over there, I am just going to sleep up there, and get up late, as usual. Plus, if it's nice weather tomorrow, I can go swimming up there. I hope it's not like today. Today is barely seventy degrees and it's overcast. I don't mind it though, it's better than it being humid. It's been a weird summer, though.

Again, I didn't do anything today, but I slept late, so that took up a big part of the day. Basically I watched tv. I watched Blind Date, which is the stupidest show of all, but it's funny. During commercials I switched to Family Feud, because my sister likes it, and then at the end of all of the shows I caught the end of Daria and had to watch it because it is just funny. After that all of the Real World shows from New Orleans were on, and I had to watch them because they are just so entrancing and even if you don't want to watch them you get sucked into them and you feel as if you have to watch them. My sister made me a bologna and cheese sandwich for lunch. I thought that was really sweet of her because usually I am the one making lunch for her, washing all the dishes, doing chores, etc., while she is vegging out. But she was very nice and made me a sandwich.

We are really sort of the same person sometimes. We always think of the same things at the same time, no matter how weird it is.

When I was watching Real World, this girl Melissa on the show was going out with some frat boy, and she should have stayed with him because he was so polite and nice and stuff like that. He was such a gentleman and kind, and she just pushed him away because she was not used to that type of boy. She made so many sterotypes about the kid, and she hardly knew him. She kept asking him if he was rich. I think that is a kind of rude thing to say. Oh yeah, well, I did have a point somewhere...yeaah. I think that it is very important for someone to be polite. It shows that you have good upbringing and respect yourself and others. My mom and dad have really good manners, because they were raised that way, and now my sister and I have aquired them. I don't say it to sound snobby or anything, but I just think it is so important to have good manners. I love it when little kids have good manners and when they ask you to do something, they say "please" or "thank-you". There is no way that I am going to have a boyfriend without good manners. If he's rude and unpolite, then he can just say goodbye. I'm not saying that you have to constantly hold open doors for people and help old ladies across the street at every intersection. A little goes a long way. Just showing that you have good manners and a little class is enough for me.

Kerri just called me on my cell phone. She was at Newbury Comics, and she was going to pick up a poster for me that I wanted. It was one from the *nsync concert, except it was probably much cheaper there. *sigh* Well, I think I'll go and watch tv now. Sailormoon is going to be on in a few minutes.

Ciao.
