I came home and took a shower, as I reeked of cigarette smoke from my aunt. It was nasty, and I had to put all of my clothes in the wash. I was sleepy and had a headache, two signs of mine for inhaling too much cigarette smoke. I hate cigarettes. Once I start my rants, cigarettes are going to be one of them. I don't care what other people think, I hate them. They've done so many bad things to people I love, people in my family, and it's time for them to stop. Although, I doubt that they will ever be able to rid the world of cigarettes. If they do, I'm sure I won't live to see the day. Well, one thing I can do to rid the world of them is not to smoke myself. I promise myself that I never will.
Kerri came over today for a while once I got home. We were going back to the eighties about all of our favorite cartoons. We were looking up stuff about Rainbow Brite, Carebears, the Popples, Jem, My Little Ponies, and all of those other great cartoons from when we were little. She stayed for supper, and after we watched one of the Carebear movies that I had stashed away in the movie collection. I wanted to watch Young Americans, actually, but I kind of forgot. Well, Kerri was taping it at home so I'll just borrow the tape off of her.
I think tomorrow I am going out with my mom and sister to buy some uniforms. My sister needs them for school, but she doesn't have to be fitted for them or anything, so we are going to just get the "regulation" clothes she needs from the mall. It's going to be like pulling teeth just to get her to try anything on. I am going to have to look for something to wear to Mindy's party. My sister hates the idea of uniforms, but I don't think it's that bad. I mean, no discrimination about clothes would take a lot of pressure off of my hands. I always feel as if I have to keep up with the rest of the girls in my class with fashions and such. Most of the time I just wear what I want though. I really don't like some of the things they wear anyways. Still, it would be so easy to not have to put together outfits and do laundry so much. Oh well, guess I won't have that opportunity. Unless I transfer to Matignon, no thank you.
