rise up, step back

Hallo, I hope everyone is having a nice night. I am just chilling out, because I've been cleaning my room and making it tidy so I don't have to do it tomorrow. I have to go out tomorrow and find something to wear to Mindy's party. I tried on my little black dress again today, and mom thought it was a little too fancy to be wearing to a b-day party. I agreed, 'cos I looked as if I was going out to a club or something. I need something else. I have this tank top that has like, a handkerchief cut with beads along the bottom, but I don't have a skirt to wear with it. That's what I hope to find tomorrow. If not, I'll come up with something. I always do.

Ah, so today I didn't do a real lot. Christina called, and asked me if I wanted to go to the Galleria with her, but my mom said no because we had a lot of errands to do. So, we did errands. We went to the bank, out to eat (yumyumpop!), ahhh, oh yeah, to the bowling alley, and then to the library and cvs. I got a really cool binder for school. It's white with an orange edge. Even the girl at the check-out counter said it was cool. I also got a b-day card for Mindy. It has this little bunny on the front, and it's one of those pictures where if you turn in a certain way, the picture changes. You know, if you scratch it, it sounds like someone scratching a record. It's cute anyway. You would like it if you got it for your birthday.

I didn't want to go to the bowling alley today, but my sister and her friend just HAD to go because they were bored, so my mom took them. They did not want to be seen with me or my mom, but she wouldn't leave them there alone, so my mom and I went to the arcade on the side and played games. It was so funny to see my mom try and play games. She played pinball and got a high score, which let her win a free game. I can't even do that. I suck at pinball. Then we played a couple games of air hockey, and I kept winning so I got bored. So then I got some candy from the vending machine and went to see my sister and Nicole bowl. Bowling is just so uninteresting unless you are actually playing. I remember that my grampie used to watch bowling on the television and I thought it was so boring.

I don't watch the news a lot, but I watched it tonight. They never have anything good to say. It's always all bad stuff. The number of homicides in Boston has already surpassed the number that it was last year. That is kind of scary to me, but I know I'm safe, especially 'cos I take percautions to be safe. All I hear about it killings, missing children, and bad stuff. I wish the news would just have some good things to say once in a while. Maybe it would make people want to keep things that way.

Okay, well I'm going to have to find a way to stuff my Imelda Marcos collection of shoes in my already crammed closet. Puzzle of puzzles...

Ciao.
