a cloud built of fluff and stuff

Another exciting day in my world. I got up early again this morning, pain in the backs of my knees. I tried to do a plié, and it did not feel too nice. I did some extra stretching before breakfast so that I wouldn't be aching when I had to run at practice. I ate a bowl of Sugar Crisp, and then proceeded to get on my shorts, t-shirt, and sneakers to head down to the track. It was so brutally hot today, even at ten in the morning. I think most of the day it was about ninety, and really humid. We only had to run a half a mile today, which rocked my world. I don't think I could have done much more. After that, I had to go home quickly and shower, because I had a party to go to.

I walked in late, and although not the last one there, I felt so weird. I don't know why, but I suddenly felt like such an intruder on their party. I am so incredibly glad that Kathleen ended up being there, because if she wasn't, I don't know what I would do. Normally I'd still have Joe, but he is still acting kind of weird since I told him to back off a bit. I didn't eat anything, because it was still early in the morning, and I didn't feel like eating right after running. After a while, Kathleen and I went upstairs to see the kittens. They are so incredibly cute! I love them all, because they're just so tiny and adorable. They all seem to have a nice disposition as well. I swore that after watching Cleo, I'd never want a cat, but I don't know about that now. I picked up one and carried it around upstairs, and it fell asleep in my hands. Then it was looking up at me, mewing, and just doing a bunch of cute kitten things. I felt bad that none of them had a name, so Kathleen and I named them all. The grey one that I liked is named Daisy, the black one with the moustache is Milky, the almost all black one with the white paws is named Lil' Joe, and the other one still remains nameless. They're all really adorable though.

Most of the party we just hung around the house, as it was really too hot outside to do anything. Derrek was there, and it seems that he may have even gotten a little bit taller. Well, he's cute anyhow. Joe bleached the tips of his hair and got them dyed green. It was pretty cool. It was funny because I said that his hair looked and felt like that plastic grass carpet stuff. *hehe* We had cake, and sang happy birthday to Shawn. It was nice to see everyone again, and I felt a little bit better after being there for a while. I was afraid things would be really awkward, but they turned out just fine.

The rest of the day was more or less blurry and I don't really remember what happened. Chris and Kathleen wanted me to come to New Hampshire with them for the rest of the weekend, but my dad wouldn't let me go because we're leaving for vacation this Friday morning/Saturday night, and they want me to be here when we leave so that I can pack and whatever. It was a big let down, because I really wanted to go, but I guess that there's always next time. Right now I'm going to go read or wait for some people to come online so that we can chat.

Ciao bella!
