I finally went out today. I went to McDonald's with my mom and sis, and I really shouldn't have, because that food is probably worse than eating elemental uranium. Oh well, I'll work it off somehow. We just browsed around the plaza that we were in for a while. I was happy because when we were in Tags, some girl was staring at me, and I just looked over at her, 'cos I was wondering why anyone would be staring at me. She said, "Oh, sorry for staring, but I just love your shoes! They're so cute." That made me happy for the day. A comment from a stranger is always a nice thing to receive. <3 I went to the Japanese book store and was really happy because they got in a whole bunch of new manga, and they finally had all of the Card Captor Sakura books, and all of the Sailormoon ones as well. They also had Marmalade Boy, which I was looking for. I also stumbled upon Fushigi Yugi. ^____^ The only thing that they didn't have was Nakayoshi, which I kind of wanted. I was going to go downstairs to see if they had any old copies, but I didn't and got the first Card Captor Sakura manga. The people in there must think I'm such a weirdo, buying all these children's manga when I'm sixteen. Oh well, I don't care, I lurve looking at them.
Let's see...I went to the orthodontist with my sister. That wasn't very fun. It's been really hot here this week, and our air conditioner is still broken. Mom called up some repair people to come and fix it, and the earliest they could come was on Friday. I guess 'till then we'll just have to sweat. Ewwwww. Even this late at night it is still kind of hot out.
Lately I've been watching the people across the street. Not really spying, just kind of watching. Their house is sort of interesting. I never really thought of even looking over there before, but they just moved in, and are always playing music really loud. I think they're college kids. Sometimes they just start dancing in the middle of the room and stuff, and it's funny. I shouldn't really be spying though, it's so rude. I know I wouldn't like it if someone did that to me. Come to think of it, when Erin used to live next door, she did do that to me. *grrr* Oh well, it's okay. I'm going to see her tomorrow. This is probably the first time I've seen her this summer.
Kerri is away in New York until Saturday, I think. I hope she's having a good time. I hear people's voices outside. Doesn't anyone go to bed anymore? Well, I'm a fine one to talk. Mmm, I think I'll go to bed now. One more thing though. I've had this song in my head all day, and I even sang it out loud once or twice. Now I totally forget it, and can't remember a word. Isn't that weird?
