you are the sunshine in my life

Okay, I'm back, welcome back to me. I didn't get a chance to write in my diary/journal over the weekend, as I went away for a change. I spent a pretty nice weekend in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. I was so glad to get away. I went with my parents, sister, Kerri and her mom, and Erin and her mom. Trust me, if you can avoid it, don't go on vacation with your friends. It will only catch up with you on the end. I did have a lot of fun, but there were also very many trying moments that I should have liked to avoid. We spent a pretty long time getting up there Friday night, as there was a major traffic jam. I didn't mind though, because my dad borrowed a van from his work, and I was pretty comfortable on the way up. I got some of my homework done too. That night we just went out to eat, swimming, and then went to bed. On Saturday we went to this awesome thing; it was an alpine slide that went down a mountain. You sat in a little car and controlled a thing that let you go flying down the mountain on a track. I went down two times, then everyone else went down a few more times, but I was feeling sick and sunburned, so I didn't want to do it anymore. While we were riding up the mountain in a ski lift, I was just joking around that we were going to fall out and go crashing down into the rocky mountainside. Well, no one found that very funny, so all I got were dirty looks for the rest of the ride up. I don't feel like talking about my vacation anymore, as it wasn't that fun. I was really tired half of the time.

I'll talk about school instead, as that is better than usual today. We missed Spanish for an assembly that was BORING. That's okay, at least I missed something. In English we performed our plays from the summer. I was in a group with Lia and Kerri, and then another boy joined us today, because he was a new student. I don't remember his name, but I think he was Spanish or something. Pretty cute...must be smart. Well, in the play I had the part of the mute. I was supposed to have lines that I supposedly had been writing on a piece of paper for people in the play to see, but I was going to say them out loud, for the fact that we were doing a play. Well, Lia just read over all of my parts without even letting me say a word. So I more or less just sat there the whole time, pretending to write words down on a block of paper. I was so mad at Lia, because we decided to use her play, and she just took over the whole thing. She read almost all of it, and everyone else in the group got about two lines. Out of all of the plays that were read, hers was dry and really boring. We should have read my play. At least it was funny. I sit next to Chris in that class now. I didn't really want to, but the teacher made up seats and wanted everyone to sit up in the front. That was the only seat left, so guess who got stuck in it? Me, of course. I can't hide the fact that I still like him, even though I promised myself that I wouldn't. I mean, I can't help it, really. It will never happen, but it's nice to pretend for a while.

Let's see...In History we had a fire drill so we missed some of the time. Psychology was kind of boring, but at lunch, I now have a new place to sit. Min, Sambo, and I join Jens and Paul up in the Orchestra room. It's this little room way high up in the back of the library. You go to the back of the library and then go up a few flights of stairs. There's a little room up there, and a passage to the roof. We are going to wait for a nice day to open up the hatch to the roof and go and sit out there to eat lunch. I don't know if we're supposed to be up there, but it's a lot better than sitting in the noisy cafeteria. I mean, it's the best, eating up there with five people and not being in with all of the hustle and bustle. I hope we go back tomorrow, as I don't want to go the cafeteria. Plus, I want to go on the roof! Yeah! I just hope I don't get suspended or anything, I don't want that type of stuff on my record.

Calligraphy was so boring. I finished everything so quickly that I didn't have anything to do. We had another fire drill during then, because somebody pulled the alarm. I love my Pre Cal class, as the atmosphere is very laid back, unlike Geometry last year where I was constantly confused and in a rush to get everything done in the period. In this class, we just go at a slow pace, slow enough to get stuff done without rushing. School was tolerable today, really it was. But after school was another thing, because we got out late. By the time I got out, all of the buses were already gone, and there weren't going to be any coming for a while. An 88 went by, but it didn't pick up any passengers. Then a 90 came by, and I took the route halfway and had to get off and walk the rest because that's as far as it went near my house. So, Min, Guillermo and I walked the other half of the way home. It was so blazing hot and I had on clamdigger length pants and a blouse, so I was practically sweating myself to death. I was going to die from walking in the sun so long, but Min bought us all slush. She's so thoughtful like that, so I am happy. I was mad that we had to walk home, but it makes it all the better when you're with friends. I'm just glad that I didn't have to go the way alone.

I start driver's ed next Monday. I am excited about it. I'm goind with Min and Guillermo (my two hang around all the time peoples...<3 ) Tomorrow I am starting dancing tomorrow two. I am so out of shape that I am going to be huffing and puffing after just a few minutes of pointe. I can't believe that I will be there for forty five minutes. Argh. Well, I've got a lot of things coming up soon. My aunts and uncles are going to have an anniversary party for my godfather and aunt. It should be really nice, I hope, because I love those kind of family parties. They always have them at somewhere nice. Okay, well I've written enough for now!

Ciao...
