Yeah, so today was massively hot and gross outside. My sister and I both got our hair cut. I just got a trim, and my sister got some layers that were really long so you can't notice them too much. It just feels better to have a haircut, so that the ends aren't all straggly and stuff. After that we went home, 'cos at that time, we still thought the GE repair man was coming. Um, we ate lunch, and then my mom had to go out to do some errands. We went to the bank, and we were there for about a half an hour because something was messed up in my mom's passbook. Mr. Carlos bank man finally fixed it. (He is the guy at the bank that always helps out my mom when her account gets screwed up.) So, we were in the bank, and it was closed, and all of these people kept trying to walk into the bank, and it was closed. They looked in and saw people, and then tried to open the door again. My sister and I just laughed at them, and they were not too happy. At least five people pulled this stunt. Wow. After that we went to Osco to get some cards, nail polish remover, stuff like that. I go to the checkout, and who should I see but a boy that used to be in my homeroom. He has the best smile ever...so tall...so cute. Ummm, yeah, well I was like "Hi Billy!", and waved and all, and he checked out the stuff for my mum and was just really nice and all. He said to me, "So Amanda, you going back to school next year?" I said "Yeah, you are too, right?" Then he said, "Yup, no choice." Okay, well I am getting sick of this dialect junk. So we were just chatting a bit. We used to argue about what type of music was best every morning. I still saw him last year and we always said hi to each other in the hall. We are really only aquaintences, but he is just so nice. He's in vocational now, so his homeroom is down in the other wing of the school, and no longer with us. I miss him, but I still have my Kathleen, my Mindy, and my Micheal in homeroom.
But anyways, I'm trying to remember what I know about this kid. He's really tall, at least six feet I think. His skin is very clean and very pale. He has the best blue eyes that are never cloudy. Ah! I know why I love him so much! He reminds me of a sailor. That's gotta be it. He's really strong too, and he's got that strong hand thing going on. He's polite and has a good personality. I don't think he's too smart, seeing he's in vocational, but that can be just a stereotype. He's really cute...*drool* If I don't have a date to the junior prom this year, he's going to be it. Well, excuse the previous paragraph. I was just trying to remember everything I liked about him. I'm so silly sometimes...^____^
Well, after that we went to the grocery store, and my mom did a bit of grocery shopping. I think we have been to the grocery store every day this week. My mom always forgets something or other that she needs and goes out to get it. *sigh* We came home after that, and my dad was already home. It was even hotter in the house now, so he called my aunt to see if we could go swimming in her pool. She wasn't home, so he just left a message. Then we all decided it was way too hot and jumped in the car. We went to the bank because my dad was checking out something or other at different banks. We saw my Auntie Ro there, (Guillermo and Courtney's mom!), and talked to her for a whlie. She was sad because Billy didn't do his summer reading. He had to go to summer school because he didn't do well in school this year. He made me mad because I know he can do it, but he is just to lazy to do it. He better do better this year, because it's his last year in school, and I am going to get on his case if he doesn't. Sooo, then we went to another bank, and who should we see but my cousin and her husband! Yay! I guess today was family bank day or something.
At this time we were very hungry, so we went out to eat. I wanted pizza, so we went to La Hacienda, a bar/restauraunt place that has awesome pizza. We got a half olive, half mushroom pizza, and a three cheese pizza. After that we drived around for a while. Then we went to go and get ice cream. Now we're home. And the ac is fixed. *makes the sign of the cross* What a relief. Yeah, so I guess I get to sleep in the living room tonight, because the ac is not getting in my room very well. I'm kind of sleep now. I can't beleive it's already September. How time flies.
