I went to the mall today, which was alright. I found that today was really long and I was tired for most of it. I don't know why. The weather's been kind of wacky in the sense that it's autumn and it's still humid and warm outside. I hate when it's humid/cold/sticky/warm all in one day, or even all at once. The air is just so thick and it's hard to breathe. At the mall I got a new phone cover, and also two cds. I got the Alicia Keyes cd and the Nelly Furtado one as well. There was someone outside with a table of bootlegs for five dollars each, so I figured that it would be worth it. That's not a really common sight here at all, so it was kind of strange to see someone out on the sidewalk selling bootlegs. The only other place that I've actually been and seen that done is on Canal St. in New York City. I think I'll buy the legit Nelly cd, but maybe not the Alicia Keys one. I don't think I like it that much. The phone cover I got is really cool. It's pink, blue, and purple pastel colors, and covered with sparkles. I love sparkles. I didn't realize that I knew the girl who was working at the phone acessory booth; she was in my gym class last year. She was really nice, and even gave me new buttons for free for my phone. It looks much better now, compared to the ugly, cracked screen it had before with its old cover. I wanted to get a book at the mall for my interdiciplanary English project, but the books they had were in bad condition. If I'm going to buy a book, it's got to be clean, new, and not have any creases in the cover. I mean, you'd think that Border's books would have nice books and all, but the two copies of The English Patient that they had were dirty and gross looking. It was a decision between that and Midnight's Children by Salman Rushdie. Due to time constraints, I chose the other book. I still have to find a place that sells it, though. There aren't too many book stores in the immediate area. I don't really want to travel to Boston for the sake of getting a book, either.
I practiced my driving today. I thought that I handled it rather well. I am improving on my "skills". Yeah. I drove for about an hour today, which is probably the most that I've ever driven. I want to get my licence by the end of this year. I must learn how to drive, so that I can be cool like all of the other cool people. Yeah. I think I need to sleep now, 'cos it's really late and I'm tired.
