semi-wasted day

Today was somewhat wasted, but it ended up to be an okay day. I woke up fairly late, which was around 9:30 a.m. I was planning to go to a craft fair at my school with my mum and sis, just for the heck of doing something. But then, I didn't really want to go. I mean, those things are always so boring...crafts...ZzzZzZZ...

So, I stayed at home and did much of nothing for a few hours. When my mum and sis finally got home, they had shown me what they got, blah, blah, blah. We were then packing overnight bags, as we had planned to go to Maine for tonight and tomorrow, just to get out of the house. But, my aunt had called in a panic because my cousin had fainted and had some kind of weird seizure, and she was in the hospital. She wanted us to just go on with our little vacation, but there was no way my mum was going to stand for that. I think we made it to the hospital in about ten minutes flat. Not too bad, considering it's kind of far away. I was just focusing on keeping my younger cousin busy while his sister was in the emergency room. My aunt was busy making phone calls and stuff, and my parents were talking to her. I was very worried, but I know that things always work out for the best.

Well, I got a snack from the vending machine for Jimmy, my little cousin, and we were just doing nothing, standing in the hall. Then we went to the waiting area. I swear, they had about six magazines there, which were all really stupid. I mean, Smithstonian, Maturity, and Woman's World? I mean, give me a break. So Jim was teaching my sister and I how to count up to ten in Italian. Not bad for a six year old, wouldn't you say? We passed the time away just goofing off for a while, trying to keep our minds off of the situation at hand. As it turns out, Lauren, my cousin, was okay. I am still worried for her, though, because this isn't the first time that this sort of thing has happened. I have seen it happen twice within the past six or so years. *sigh* I will just have to see what happens.

After that, it was too late to go anywhere, yet I still had to go to church. Dreaded church. After that boringness, my dad said that we could go out to eat. We wanted to go to the Outback, but the wait was one to one and a half hours long, and that was just too long for us. So we just went to Chile's, which was across the street, and the food was okay. We had a nice waiter named Dave. ^___^

We went to the mall for about a half of an hour after dinner. I was so happy because I go to go into Sephora, which is a giant make-up store. They have almost anything that you could imagine there for make-up and make-up supplies, at prices that I sure can't afford very often. My dad was getting twitchy in a store full of make-up, so my mother offered to take me and my sis back at a later time. We just kind of strolled around after that, because everything was getting ready to close. Then we came home, and I decided to write this. La la la...

This was a long entry, but hey, I had a lot to say. I've got the poetic licence around here anyway. Hmm...I don't know if I used that the right way, but oh well.

I was going to talk about my Hope beanie baby...(the only one that I really like now), but I'll save it for a later time.

ciao!
